Cause

Small Dog Rescue BC Society's mission is to place shelter and stray dogs of all ages, some that would otherwise be euthanized, into loving forever homes, to educate the public about the need for spay/neuter, and to help re-home owner surrendered dogs in Vancouver and the surrounding area.  ​

We are a small foster based rescue based in Langley BC.  Since 2011, we have placed over 500 dogs into their new homes.  As our goal is to find the perfect home for each of our dogs, we offer a sleepover period to make sure your new family member will be the best possible match before completing any adoption.  All SDRBC dogs have been vet checked, had their shots, been altered, microchipped and had further medical care when needed.      

This year after visiting Northern Manitoba with a Winnipeg rescue we have also added sponsoring spay/neuter surgeries for dogs in remote communities in that province to help with keeping unwanted dog populations down.
